Building Safety -
Plan Review

Building Safety provides plan review services for land development activities. The Plans Examiners and the Development Engineering teams provide comprehensive and detailed examinations of the submittals for development permits. Projects are reviewed for compliance and conformance to City ordinances, regulations, policies and the adopted life safety codes.

  • City of Mesa Subdivision Regulations Title 9, Chapter 6 of the Mesa City Code regulates minor (i.e., Land Splits) and major subdivisions of land within the City of Mesa. Note: Chapter 6 begins on Page 8 of Title 9.
     
  • Construction Codes and the City of Mesa Ordinances creating, adopting and amending various construction related codes.
     
  • Off-Site Improvement Regulations, Title 9, Chapter 8 of the Mesa City Code regulates the development of land that is not subject to the Subdivision Regulations or is not a Single Family Residence. Note: Chapter 8 begins on Page 106 of Title 9.
