In continued support of higher education and growing the tech workforce within the community, DevMountain, in cooperation with the City of Mesa, will be offering an Introduction to Web Development Workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mesa Public Schools Building, Room 303 at 63 E. Main St. in Mesa. This workshop will provide participants with an introduction to web development from one of the top-rated coding boot camps in the country. Food will be served at the workshop.

“DevMountain gravitates toward forward-thinking communities. We love helping build the tech ecosystem wherever we can,” Cahlan Sharp, Co-Founder and CEO of DevMountain said. “We are thrilled to work with the City of Mesa to provide opportunities for people to gain valuable skills and increase their opportunities.”

DevMountain is an industry-leading coding school that began in the heart of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains. Founded by fellow coders, DevMountain's expert faculty are passionate about sharing their craft and empowering the next wave of programmers, entrepreneurs and designers.

Through full-time or part-time coding boot camps, DevMountain is accelerating education by focusing on modern technical skills for today's fast-paced, high-tech industries. It offers a variety of courses taught by industry professionals with years of real-world experience, from web development and user experience design to iOS development. Centered around high impact, hands-on learning, the project-based curriculum allows students to build foundations to launch their careers, build their startups and achieve their goals.

“We are excited to have a group like DevMountain offering this workshop in Downtown Mesa,” Bill Jabjiniak, City of Mesa economic development director said. “With the fast growing need for software coders and web developers in today’s marketplace, workshops like these are important in building the next generation workforce.”

DevMountain was founded in Provo, Utah in 2013, but has quickly grown to four campuses with six-course offerings and is the largest coding/technology school in the Intermountain West. It is one of the highest-rated coding schools in the country.

Registration costs $20 and can be done at www.tinyurl.com/DevMountainWorkshop. For additional information, please contact Cahlan Sharp at cahlan@devmounta.in.
