Celebrate Mesa, a free party in the park, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Red Mountain Soccer Complex, 905 N. Sun Valley Blvd.
Join us this year for a special treat with performances by Island Magic Music, an African drumming band, and returning guest Rich Ihle with Reptile Adventures. Ihle will bring back his special reptile friends including Teresa, a 17-foot python! You won’t want to miss out on all the fun!
Families are encouraged to dress up, grab a special treat at the entrance, go trick-or-treating at all the City department booths and check out the Police and Fire vehicles and the “haunted bus.” Free raffle prizes and give-a-ways will also be available plus, a free movie showing of Hotel Transylvania at 8 p.m.
Admission and parking are free. Plenty of free rides and activities can be found in the Kidzone and Tot Spot. Children can also purchase $5 wristbands that give them unlimited ride access to signature rides such as: Fly Wire Zip line, Uproar, Whizzer and Wipeout Baller.
Sponsors of Celebrate Mesa include: City of Mesa, SRP, Mesa Recycles, Fry’s Food Stores, The Foundation for Mesa Parks and Recreation, Mountain Vista Medical Center, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, Eastmark, Berge Ford, and Ritoch-Powell & Associates.
