The Mesa Music Festival is back for its second year and has booked Fuel to headline a FREE concert in downtown Mesa on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. Fuel hit the airwaves with their first album Sunburn and massive hit “Shimmer” in 1998. Their second album Something Like Human followed in 2000 and went multi-platinum with the singles “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)” and “Innocent”. After five studio albums, Fuel continues to sell out venues across the country.

The Mesa Music Festival is designed for up and coming bands to network with industry professionals, trade ideas and play a free festival together on the final day of the conference. So far, more than 100 bands from across the country and beyond have been selected to perform in downtown Mesa businesses and on outdoor stages from noon to 8 p.m. on Nov. 12.

This year’s industry professionals include:

David Ellefson – Megadeth bassist, record label president, producer and manager

Geordie Gillespie – Partner at The Hatchery and former executive at Sony, Columbia and Virgin record companies

Jim Kuzmich – Entertainment lawyer

Rene Mata - A&R, producer and manager
