EuroContempo Cabinetry LLC, a European-style cabinet and materials manufacturing company, has officially opened its new 72,000 square-foot manufacturing facility and showroom at 7447 E. Ray Road, north of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
“EuroContempo Cabinetry is a great addition to Mesa,” Mayor John Giles said. “Their decision to locate in Mesa is a great endorsement of Mesa’s business-friendly environment and the forward-thinking, public investment in the Gateway Area.”
The company is investing more than $12 million in the new highly automated facility, which will soon create 40 jobs.
“EuroContempo has shown their commitment to Mesa and the Gateway area with a significant investment in this new manufacturing facility,” District 6 Councilmember Kevin Thompson said. “This is not only a win for Mesa and District 6, but our citizens as well, as we continue to focus our efforts on creating jobs. Gateway continues to be an important asset for the region and an economic hub for our City.”
With the latest in automation and cutting-edge equipment, EuroContempo Cabinetry creates the most high-end cabinets with the shortest lead times in the industry.
”Our vision here at EuroContempo is to become the North American leader in design, manufacturing, and innovation of European style cabinetry, millwork, and furnishings. While at full capacity we estimate our capabilities at being able to produce approximately 20-30 kitchens daily,” EuroContempo General Manager Josh Murrietta said.
EuroContempo produces and sells cabinets to interior designers, cabinet shops, commercial and residential contractors, homebuilders and home improvement stores.
The City of Mesa partnered with EuroContempo Cabinetry and the Arizona Commerce Authority on this project.
"The Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport tech corridor provides an ideal location for a manufacturer like EuroContempo Cabinetry,” Arizona Commerce Authority President & CEO Sandra Watson said. “We congratulate EuroContempo on the opening of this impressive new facility and thank them for their investment in the State of Arizona.”
