Post Date:09/23/2015 11:27 AM

The City of Mesa’s Office of Economic Development has been honored with a Golden Prospector Award of Merit from the Arizona Association of Economic Development (AAED) for the City of Mesa Technology Brochure. The Award was presented Sept. 18 during the AAED 2015 Fall Forum held in Tucson, Ariz.

“I’m proud of our team’s efforts in producing this high-quality, compelling marketing piece,” Bill Jabjiniak, Economic Development Director for the City of Mesa, said. “The Technology Brochure is one of a suite of marketing pieces that help us creatively and professionally present Mesa’s business case and leverage Mesa’s industries of opportunity – Healthcare, Education, Aerospace/Aviation, Technology, and Tourism.”

AAED’s Golden Prospector Awards recognize outstanding economic development promotional efforts by Arizona organizations and communities. Nominations were evaluated based on effectiveness of achieving the stated goal for the piece, quality and timeliness of the information, innovation and creativity, organization and visual appeal, and contribution to the economic development profession or the community’s marketplace.
