Have fun and eat wings at Wingstock
Where else can you chill out, have a beer, listen to music and eat a ton of wings! Only at “Wingstock: Where Music & Chicken meat” one of the premier festivals in the valley.
Wingstock will be held on Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mesa Amphitheatre, 263 N. Center St. This hottest event of the year will feature restaurants from across the valley battling it out for the coveted title “Wingstock: King of Wings.” Current reigning champion for two years in a row, ATL Wings, is looking for a hat-trick to hold onto the crown. This year will be bigger than ever with an additional stage for more live music and contests.
Kids can enjoy the family fun zone, which includes bounce houses, face painters and a free egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. Get pictures with HENdrix the Wingstock mascot and the Easter Bunny. Adults can compete in the wing eating contest. Five pounds of wings in 5 minutes!
Live performances from: Johnny Anonymous, Laura Walsh, Dan Grimm, UFN and Ashley Wineland will round out the day.
This year’s participating restaurants include:ATL Wings, Diamonds Sports Grille, Cogburn’s Big Wings, On The Green Sports Grill, The Draft Sports Grill, Moonshine Whiskey Bar, Blasted Barley Beer Company, Dave and Busters, Uncle Bear’s Brewery, Hurricane Grill & Wings and Fat Tuesday. Admission is $5 in advance, $8 at the door. Children 10 and under are free with a paid adult. Wing coupons can be purchased at the event, $3 for four coupons or $10 for 14 coupons. Purchase your admission tickets online at: www.mesaamp.com.
