Sara joined the City of Mesa Economic Development team in August 2013 as a project manager. In this role, Sara works to promote new capital investment, redevelopment opportunities, and job creation throughout Mesa. In addition, Sara represents the department as the City liaison for Mesa’s newest colleges and universities involved in the Mesa Educates U initiative.
Prior to working for the City of Mesa, Sara served as marketing representative for Henrico County Economic Development Authority in Henrico, Virginia, where she focused mainly on domestic and international business attraction efforts. She also held a position at Genworth Financial as an Information Technology Research Assistant.
Sara was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and received a BA in English and Political Science with a concentration in Pre- Law from Virginia Tech.
