Deputy City Manager John Pombier
As
Deputy City Manager, John Pombier oversees Facilities
Maintenance, Human Resources, Solid Waste, Police, Fire and
Public Information.
Mr. Pombier was hired as the City Prosecutor in 2003 and was
promoted to Deputy City Manager in 2011. Prior to joining the
City, he served for two years as Deputy General Counsel for the
State of Arizona Governor’s Office and as the Director for the
Governor’s Division for the Prevention of Family Violence.
He also served four years as Lead Attorney in the Domestic
Violence Unit and as Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of
Phoenix. Mr. Pombier has a law degree from Arizona State
University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from
University of Michigan School of Business.
