April is All About Water
April is Water Awareness Month, a time when we ask you to
focus your attention on ideas, tips, resources and events to
help you conserve water, and to learn more about Arizona's most
precious resource, WATER! We've highlighted some of our favorite

National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation: Show your support by visiting
Pledge, a friendly competition between cities across the
U.S. to see who can be the most water-wise. Mesa Mayor
and other Mayors nationwide will challenge their residents to
conserve water, energy and other natural resources on behalf of
their city. Did we mention prizes? Go to
Celebrate Arizona Water Photo Contest: Water
- Use It Wisely invites you to join them in reflecting on the
importance and wonder of water in Arizona. Show us your amazing
photos celebrating Arizona's natural water for a chance to win a houseboat vacation.

Water Efficiency Made Easy
The WaterSense label is a
simple way for consumers to identify water-efficient products,
new homes, and programs that meet the EPA's criteria for
efficiency and performance. WaterSense labeled products use at
least 20 percent less water and perform as well as or better
than standard models. Products include showerheads, toilets,
faucets and more. Visit
