Jurisdiction

The Mesa Municipal Court has jurisdiction over cases as prescribed
by state statute. Following are examples of the types of cases which
can be filed in this court:

Misdemeanor Offenses

  • Driving Under the Influence

  • Leaving the Scene of an Accident

  • Reckless Driving

  • Theft

  • Shoplifting

  • Assault

Traffic Violations

  • Speeding

  • Traffic Sign and Signal Violations

  • Vehicle Registration and Insurance Violations

  • Vehicle Equipment Violations

  • Seat Belt and Child Restraint Violations

 

Vehicle Parking Offenses (Tickets)
