Scot Rigby

Scot Rigby Scot Rigby was promoted to Senior Project Manager in July 2012. Scot joined the Mesa Economic Development team first in 2004 and then again in 2008. During his time in Economic Development, Scot has lead the efforts on major projects like Mesa Riverview and Able Engineering. In addition, Scot is currently overseeing the development of the new Chicago Cubs spring training facility and is tasked with leading the City’s effort to continue to grow and develop the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and bring critical infrastructure to the surrounding area. He also has expertise in municipal financing, impact analysis, and tax incentive analysis. 

Before joining Economic Development, Scot held positions in the City Manager's office and in the Finance and Real Estate Departments.  Prior to working for Mesa, Scot spent five years with the Town of Queen Creek as an assistant to the Town Manager. Scot earned an MPA from Arizona State University and a BA in Political Science with a minor in History from Brigham Young University.
