Damage Prevention and Safety Training
Your safety is of the utmost importance to the City of Mesa.
Despite efforts to prevent situations from happening, excavators
working in the City of Mesa service area do occasionally damage
our utilities. These damages expose contractor personnel, the
public, and our employees to hazardous situations. In addition
to the safety
concern, repairs and damages can become very
costly for everyone.
For your safety and the safety of others, we must work
together to stop the damages to our underground
facilities.
The City of Mesa is taking a pro-active approach by offering a
free Damage Prevention and Safety Training to all contractors
and interested parties. This program covers Arizona Blue Stake and digging
safely when working around natural gas, electric, water, and wastewater.
Damage prevention workshops are also provided free of charge by
the Arizona Blue Stake Center. To schedule your free training, contact one
