Damage Prevention and Safety Training

Classroom training for contractorsYour safety is of the utmost importance to the City of Mesa.  Despite efforts to prevent situations from happening, excavators working in the City of Mesa service area do occasionally damage our utilities. These damages expose contractor personnel, the public, and our employees to hazardous situations. In addition to the safety concern, repairs and damages can become very costly for everyone.

For your safety and the safety of others, we must work together to stop the damages to our underground facilities.

The City of Mesa is taking a pro-active approach by offering a free Damage Prevention and Safety Training to all contractors and interested parties.   This program covers Arizona Blue Stake and digging safely when working around natural gas, electric, water, and  wastewater.
