Contract Award
The City of Mesa City Council awards all Capital
Improvement Project contracts. Please view
upcoming
construction bid opportunities.
Upon receipt of
acceptable
bids, the qualified low bidder is
recommended
for contract award to the
City
Council for approval.
Following approval, the contractor
receives written notification of contract award
through receipt
of original contract for signature. The
contracts are mailed via certified mail the day following City Council
award and must be signed and returned within the specified
time frame.
After contract execution,
Engineering
Construction issues the Notice to Proceed and
project construction begins.
Contract payments
are generated on a monthly basis until project
completion.
