Join the fun 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 when the
City of Mesa's Falcon Field Airport hosts its 6th annual
The event will be held at Falcon Field Airport and
Falcon Field Park, 4636 East Fighter Aces Drive
(located just north of McKellips Road between Greenfield Road
and Higley Road).
Event admission, kids' activities, and parking are free!
A variety of food will be available for
Donations of canned food will be accepted for the United Food
will showcase the vital aviation and economic role of Falcon
Field and its many businesses to the Mesa community.
The Open House will feature:
Static displays of helicopters,
vintage war birds, unmanned aerial vehicles, experimental aircraft and general aviation
Impala Bob's Classic Car
Show benefitting the East Valley Boys & Girls Club.
Public safety & Valley
Metro transit vehicles.
A model railroad exhibit
by the Arizona Big Train Operators
by representatives of area aviation education
businesses and the City of Mesa.
Meet Freddy the Falcon
and enjoy great food and nostalgic music!
Learn about Falcon
Field's origin as a World War II pilot training base
at the Commemorative Air Force Airbase
Arizona Museum. Get history firsthand from
World War II veterans including British Royal Air
Force pilots & instructors, celebrated Tuskegee
Airmen, and Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs)
who will be available to talk with museum guests.

restored military aircraft from World War I through
The museum will open at 9 a.m. on March 29
and will offer a special reduced Open House
admission rate of $5 per person or $10 per family.
Kids under age 5 are admitted free!
Important note: Musuem access will
not be available from the Open House event site.
