This information is intended for use by individuals who have
been offered employment with the City of Mesa.
Do not proceed if you have not been contacted by a City Human
Resources Specialist and advised to initiate the pre-employment
process.

Congratulations on your conditional offer of
employment with the City of Mesa!
The City's pre-employment process consists of,
at a minimum, a Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Federal
Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background investigation by way of
fingerprints and a five year driving record review. Additional
pre-employment requirements (i.e., drug screen, physical
examination, pre-polygraph, etc.) will be completed for
applicable positions.
Your employment is conditional pending the City's receipt and
review of all pre-employment requirements. Employment will be
finalized upon the City's determination that you meet the City's
hiring standards.
