Promotional Openings

Promotional openings are only open to current City of Mesa employees.  Temporary workers employed by an outside agency, volunteers, and contractors are not eligible to apply for promotional recruitments.

Promotional applications are available through the NEOGOV on-line application system.

Recruitment Schedule:

Mesa City government adopted a 4-day M-TH work week; Human Resources' recruitment process has changed accordingly.  Recruitment opening day is Friday. Job openings are posted at 12:01 a.m. Friday.  Recruitment closing day has changed from Friday at 5pm to online by midnight on the closing date to be considered. (Human Resources has the right to open and close recruitments without prior notification.)
