Physically Challenged information is now available through MASD.

If you are a new athlete or have an expired Arizona Special Olympics Physical, print the Medical Release Form. It must be filled out by a Physician. To verify that you have a current physical on file please contact Mark Grant or call him at 480-644-3651.

Holiday Extravaganza!

Here are some fun activities that are sure to be boredom busters during the winter break.

These programs are designed for kids ages 6-15 with intellectual disabilities.


Wild Safari HIke at Usery Mountain and Fishing at Red Mountain Park

Tues. December 30 
Drop off/Pick up at Mesa Parks and Recreation Offices
Drop of at 9am, pick up at 3pm
Cost is $15 per person

Amazing Jakes

Inclusion Services

The City of Mesa provides additional staff and support for all recreation programs that allow individuals with disabilities to mainstream into their regular park district programs. Staff and volunteers will be partnered with individuals who require special assistance. Partners will facilitate participation and inclusion in recreation programs allowing for an optimal leisure experience.

Please note: a medical physical form and waiver is required to participate in all sports programs.
