Co-ed Grades 9-12

Let’s kick it old school! Grab
your friends and join us this fall
for our new co-ed high school
kickball league. It is a great place
to be active and just have fun. All
skill levels and abilities are
welcome and encouraged! As an added
bonus, the game on October 30 will
have a Halloween costume theme with
an award for the best dressed team.
Fun and safe uniforms are welcome!

Registration Information
Fee:
$275 per team
No fee assistance is available.
No refunds unless the league is
cancelled.

Participants may register:
- By calling Lacy to get
a team ID and then registering
online

At our Youth Sports Kickoff

Sign up your whole team of
10-15! If you don’t have a
team, no worries. Contact Lacy
to be put on the free agent
list.

All participants under the
age of 18 must have a
parent/guardian signature.

Uniform:
-
Participants will receive a team
shirt at their first game.

Teams may choose to add fun and safe
items to their uniform, but the team
shirt must always be worn.

Participants are required to wear
closed-toe athletic shoes or cleats for
safety reasons.

Participants should wear athletic
shorts or pants which allow for more
comfort while playing.

No jewelry
Rosters and Team Formation:
- Teams are responsible for compiling
their own players.
- Teams should consist of 10-15
players.
- Teams may combine grades, but if a
team has anyone from the older grade
division on their roster, they must play
up.
- Teams must assign a team captain who
will be the designated contact person
and will be responsible for distributing
information to the rest of the team. The
team captain’s name, phone number and
email address must be given at time of
registration.
- Teams must have at least five girls
on the roster.
- Teams must have at least half of
their players in the outfield and in the
kicking lineup be girls. This means if
you only have 9 players show up, 5 of
them must be girls in order to play.
- If you don’t have a full team, you
can still sign up and then add teammates
up until
Thursday, September 20 at 5 PM.
We also have a free agent list which can
help add players to your team. Contact
Lacy if you need more players.
- If you do not have a team to play
on, you can be put on a free agent list
and be placed on a team that has room.
Please contact Lacy to be put on the
list.
- Final rosters are due to Lacy by
Thursday, September 20 at 5 PM.
Practices:
- No practice time is provided
Divisions:
Co-ed, Grades 9th-10th
- Official WAKA kickball size 12
- 50 minute or 7 innings, whichever
comes first
- Play 10 on 10 (can play with as few
as 8)

Score Keeping and Standings:
We ask that all
participants, teams, and spectators
concentrate on the fundamentals and love of
the game rather than just the score.

Halloween Costume Theme Game
As an added bonus, the game on

a Mandatory Captains Meeting:

Team captains will receive a handbook
via email on
Friday, September 21 and a
hard copy at the meeting. The handbook
can also be viewed on this webpage
anytime. Please familiarize yourself
with the league in advance and discuss
the information with your team to help
them prepare as well.
HANDBOOK
Additional Information:
- Right before your first game, staff
will hold a brief meeting next to the
field for teams. They will discuss game
logistics, rules, expectations, and
answer any questions.
- Participants should bring a bottle
of water with their name on it to keep
hydrated at games. Water fountains
and/or jugs will be available as well at
games.
- Participants are asked to review the
Participant Code of Conduct and
Guidelines before the first game. Team
captains receive a copy of this via
email on
Friday, September 21 and a hard
copy at the captains meeting on Monday,
September 24. It can also be viewed on
this webpage anytime.
