Splish Splash & Dash

General Information

Saturday April 7th, 2012
Packet pickup begins at 7am
800m swim & 5k run race begins at 8:00
400m swim & 3k run race begins at 8:40

Skyline Aquatic Center
845 S. Crismon
(Course will include areas within Aquatic Center, Park and Skyline High School)

 2 race distances to suit all levels of athletes. During the Splish Splash & Dash participants will swim, snaking through the long-course lanes at Skyline Aquatics Center, and then they will climb out head to the transition area and start their run. Participants will end their race on the track at Skyline High Stadium.

Fee: $35.00 per participant


Races

There will be 2 race distances for the Spring Splish Splash & Dash.

  • 800 meter swim (2 snake swims through the long course lanes), 5k run (varied terrain includes dirt, gravel, grass, concrete)

  • 400 meter swim ( 1 snake swim through long course lanes), 3k run (varied terrain includes dirt, gravel, grass, concrete)

Awards

All participants will recieve a participation award.  Top finishers of each gender and race will be awarded with a plaque and goody bag.  Top finishers in each age groups for each gender will recieve a medal.

Age Groups:

10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

 

Timing

Electronic timing of all race participant will be provided by CEP Timing
