Investigators Seek Public Assistance Identifying Local Bank

Police investigators are seeking the public's assistance in
identifying a suspect accused of robbing a central Mesa Bank of
America at 1158 East Main Street on May 7, 2008.
On the date in question at approximately 3:20 p.m., the suspect
entered the bank and approached a bank teller at the service
counter. The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding
cash. The bank teller complied with the demand and the suspect
exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect
in this case is wanted for an attempted bank robbery in Phoenix
and a bank robbery in Tempe. Anyone with information regarding
the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Silent Witness

Suspect description:
- Black male
- Mid to upper twenties
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Short to medium length hair, possibly in braids
- 5' 8" to 6' 0" tall
- 170 to 200 pounds
