Mesa Police Seed Assistance Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

The Mesa Police Department is requesting assistance to identify
a robbery suspect responsible for a robbery committed at the
Wells Fargo Bank located at 1116 S. Crismon Road.
On December 22, 2008 at approximately 5:00 p.m., the suspect
entered the Wells Fargo Bank. The suspect walked up to the
teller window and handed the bank teller a hand-written note.
The note instructed the bank teller to give the suspect all of
her money. The bank teller complied and placed an undisclosed
amount of money in a black bag provided by the suspect. The
suspect took the bag and note from the teller and left the bank
through the east door. The suspect was last seen walking from
the bank and it is unknown if the suspect was in a a vehicle.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-40's to
50's, between 5'6" and 5'9" tall, average build, with a thick
dark moustache. He was last seen wearing a straw sombrero hat,
dark ski type jacket, blue jeans and work boots.
