Investigators Seek Information Leading To Capture Of
Shooting Suspects

The Mesa Police Department is seeking public assistance in
locating two suspects who are wanted for aggravated assault. The
crime occurred on March 19, 2008 shortly after midnight in an
apartment home located at 130 N. Lesueur in Mesa. Investigators
have made four arrests in connection with the incident; however,
two suspects remain on the loose.
Investigators believe that on March 19, 2008 at 12:14 am,
18-year-old Mario Jesus Garcia, 28-year old Carlos Ramon Meza,
and four other males who have been captured by police, went to
the 23-year-old victim's apartment at 130 N. Lesueur and forced
entry. Four of the six suspects were armed with various types of
firearms. Upon entry, the male victim was shot in the arm at
close range. After shooting the victim, the suspects fled the
scene in a vehicle that has since been located by investigators.
The investigation has lead to the arrest of four of the six
suspects on suspicion of aggravated assault. At the time of the
shooting, the victim's injuries were considered life
threatening; however, the victim survived. Investigators believe
the shooting was the result of a prior physical altercation
between individuals known to the parties involved.
The suspects who have been arrested in this case have been
identified as 19-year-old Emisael Balthazar Paz, 17-year-old
Jose Rodolfo Lopez, 17-year-old Fidel Saldana Jr., and
16-year-old Luis Angel Suarez Sanchez, all of Mesa.
Investigators are asking for public assistance in locating
suspects Mario Rubio Garcia and Carlos Ramon Meza. Anyone with
information related to the suspects in this case is encouraged
