Motorcycle Rider Injured, Hit-and-Run Suspect On The Loose

Investigators are seeking public assistance to identify a hit
and run suspect. The collision occurred on March 20, 2008 at
3:06 pm. A white newer model Chevy passenger car was pulling
out from a private drive at Val Vista and Main Street in Mesa.
The vehicle pulled onto Val Vista, directly in front of a
motorcycle rider and the two vehicles collided. The motorcycle
rider was seriously injured and the driver of the white
passenger car fled the scene in their vehicle.
The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital and is
expected to survive. The suspect vehicle is likely to have
moderate damage to the left rear quarter panel. Investigators
are asking anyone with information that may lead to the capture
of the hit and run suspect to contact the Mesa Police Department
at 480-644-2211.
Suspect vehicle is described as a white newer model Chevy
(possibly an Impala or Malibu) 4-door with damage to left rear
quarter panel.
