Mesa Police Investigate A Death In Salty Senorita Parking
Lot

This morning at approximately 2:20 a.m., Mesa Police officers
responded to the Salty Senorita club after emergency calls were
received about a male subject being hit in the parking lot by a
white Hummer H2. The Salty Senorita is located at 1862 S.
Stapley Road in Mesa. The victim, a 25-year-old male, was struck
by the Hummer H2 in the parking lot after a physical altercation
had ensued. The victim died as a result of his injuries. The
Hummer drove away from the scene without stopping.
Officers sent out the vehicle's description and the Hummer was
located by a Gilbert police officer who observed the vehicle
drive to a residence in Gilbert in the area of Warner and
Cooper. Mesa Police detectives are in the preliminary stages of
this investigation and are not releasing names of those involved
in this case.
The Mesa Police Department is seeking assistance from the

UPDATE:
Investigators have identified a suspect in the murder of Jereme
Privett. After completing their investigation, Jonathan Leigh
Sosnowicz, 31, has been arrested and booked on one count of 2nd
Degree Murder and three counts of Aggravated Assault. Witnesses
stated that the victim was in a physical fight with Sosnowicz in
the parking lot of the Salty Senorita. The Hummer and its
occupants left the parking lot approximately 5 minutes after the
fight. The Hummer returned, flashed the headlights and
accelerated directly and intentionally towards four victims. Two
of the victims were able to jump out of the way, one victim was
grazed in the arm by the Hummer (no injury), and the fourth
victim was truck by the Hummer and thrown over the front end of
the vehicle causing his death.
Forensic evidence was located on the Hummer's front end
during the execution of a search warrant at 774 W. Sereno Drive
in Gilbert. The Hummer was located at this residence after a
Gilbert Police officer spotted the vehicle not long after the
incident.
