Shop With A Cop Events

The Mesa Police Department, along with The Target Corporation
and Westcor Fiesta Mall, will host two "Shop With a Cop" events.
The first even is Saturday, November 22. The second event will
be Saturday, December 6. The Target Corporation provided a
$5,000.00 grant to the Mesa Police Department to provide gift
cards and Westcor is providing breakfast for all of the
children. A total of 142 children have been selected by various
community groups and organizations to shop at these two events.
Each child will receive a $35.00 Target gift card.
The children will begin their day at 7:30 a.m. in the food court
at Fiesta Mall for breakfast. They will then go to the Target
Store located at 1230 S. Longmore and shop from 8:30 am to 10:30
am. They will be accompanied in their shopping by a Mesa police
officer or other police department employee. All Mesa Police
Department employees attending this event are volunteering their
time.
