Mesa Police Seek Assistance In Identifying Robbery Suspect

The Mesa Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying
a male who robbed a pharmacy located inside a Fry's grocery
store in Mesa.
On Friday, February 6, 2009 at approximately 8:00 p.m., the
suspect entered the Fry's grocery store located at 825 W.
University Dr. The suspect walked directly to the pharmacy
counter, displayed a handgun and demanded Oxycontin, Vicodin and
Soma. The pharmacy clerk complied with the demands and the
suspect placed several bottles in a brown paper bag he had
brought into the store with him. The suspect exited the store
and was seen by witnesses getting into the passenger seat of a
newer model white four door Chevrolet pick-up with tinted
windows.
The suspect is described as a white male, early- to mid-20's,
about 5'6" tall, 120 pounds, with short blond hair. The male was
last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with "Skin" in large
white print on the front, dark blue jean pants, black shoes, and
dark gloves.
