Mesa Police Seek Assistance With Homicide Investigation
July 2, 2009
On
Sunday, May 3, 2009 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Mesa Police
officers responded to a report of a man down in the area of 400
W. 10th Street in Mesa. When officers arrived, they found the
victim, 36-year-old Rick Glum (shown in photo), down on the side
of the road. A motorist noticed Glum on the side of the road and
called police. The initial information revealed that Glum died
as a result of a stab wound.
On the morning of the incident, Glum was last seen by a family
member leaving on a bicycle a few hours prior to being found.
Detectives determined that the incident occurred approximately
once block west of where Glum was found.
Although detectives have been working this case for almost two
months, little solid information has been developed. Detectives
are hopeful that someone may have seen Glum in the hours prior
to his death or witnessed the incident.
