Mesa Police Seek Assistance In Identifying Bank Robbery

The Mesa Police Department is seeking information to identify a
suspect responsible for a robbery committed at the Wells Fargo
Bank located at 365 S. Power Road.
On November 23 at 12:24 p.m., the suspect entered the Wells
Fargo Bank and approached the teller, while talking on a cell
phone. The suspect opened a black binder, that zips on three
sides, and displayed a note demanding money. Next to the note
was a short, black revolver pointed at the teller. The teller
gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the drawer
and the suspect put the money into the binder. The suspect left
the bank and ran east-bound through the parking lot to an
unknown location.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Native American male
in his late 30s, approximately 6' tall, 150 lbs., with acne
scars on his face. The suspect was wearing a black beanie, sun
glasses, light colored jacket (with NAUTICA written down the
left arm), blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
