Mesa Police Seek Assistance In Identifying Hit and Run

The Mesa Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying
a fatal hit and run suspect.
On Sunday, March 13, 2011 at approximately 10:13 pm, the victim,
a 69-year-old Asian male identified as Thi Dinh Pham, was
crossing University at Pima from southbound to northbound when
he was struck by the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle was
traveling westbound in the curb lane and fled the scene. The
victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening
injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
The suspect vehicle is described as a 2006-2007 black sedan with
a broken left rear tail light, possibly a Subaru (similar to a
Tribeca). The license plate on the vehicle is described as an
Arizona Child Abuse Prevention plate. The license plate number
is unknown. The vehicle possibly sustained front end damage
during the collision.
