Hooded Bandit Series

On January 4, a series of robberies began in the East Mesa area
involving individuals wearing hooded sweatshirts who enter a
variety of businesses near closing time. The series began with
both suspects committing the robberies together and evolved to
only one of the suspects entering the businesses. The suspect
either displays or simulates having a handgun. There have been a
total of 9 robberies in this series since January 4.
Suspect description: White or Hispanic males, wearing hoodies,
sometimes with bandanas covering their faces. Both suspects
cover their hands. Suspects are described as being late
teens/early twenties, 5'5" to 5'11" tall and 150 lbs. One of the
suspects is described as having a thin mustache and wearing
prescription glasses with gold trim in several incidents. In one
incident, the suspect was described as having an obvious pigeon
toe on right foot when walking. A handgun has been used or
simulated in multiple incidents.
Vehicle description: There has been multiple unconfirmed
vehicle descriptions, including a light colored older passenger
car; small dark SUV; and a black 4-door or small car with three
possible primer or faded paint spots on passenger side.
Robbery locations: Subway (450 S Sossaman and 1121 S Higley);
New China Restaurant (1130 N Higley); Walgreens (9230 E Main St
and 6002 E Main St); Circle K (1210 S Higley); Taco Bell (6728 E
Main St); Safeway (9101 E Baseline Rd); and Dairy Queen (316 S
