Investment Fraud
Recently, 23 companies and individuals were charges with
investment fraud that totaled nearly $12 million. Many of these
individuals were insurance agents who sold non-existent life
insurance policies, viatical settlement policies, or promissory
notes.
Protect yourself and thoroughly check out insurance
agents or those offering you investment opportunities. Many of
these sellers prey on the elderly, but anyone can become a
victim.
