Phony Real Estate Agents
A scam targeting seniors has been reported in the Sun City
area. People posing as real estate agents will knock on the door
of a senior whose house is for sale. They present a business
card and tell the senior that they are an agent and have someone
interested in their home. They will ask to look around and while
they are in the home they will distract the senior and steal
jewelry, money or whatever else they can take. Please be careful
about allowing people into your home; check identification
carefully.
