SingleFamily_DefaultTrash/Recycling for Single Family Homes

A 'single-family home' is defined as any dwelling with one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Free-standing home
  • Condo, townhome, multi-plex or patio home where occupant is the account holder for city trash services

Reminder: Trash & recycle barrel collection service is provided on all holidays.

***BARREL COLLECTION SERVICE NOTICE: Due to the Mesa-Phoenix Marathon, trash and recycle barrel collection will begin at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24th.  To ensure service, customers should have their barrels out before this time.  Barrels may be set out anytime after 6 p.m. the night before.

Multi_Family_DefaultTrash/Recycling for Multi-Unit Homes

A 'multi-unit home' is defined as any dwelling where the occupant is not the account holder for city trash service.  Examples include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Apartment communities
  • Manufactured or mobile home parks
  • RV parks
  • Condo, townhome, multi-plex or patio homes
