    • August 13: SRP Shade Tree Planting Workshop. Get two free shade trees from SRP to reduce cooling costs, improve air quality and lower the urban heat effect without using a lot of water! You’ll also learn about planting and caring for trees. RSVP because it fills up quickly. Two classes, 8 or 10 a.m. at Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center Street.
