Traffic Studies Analyst
A Traffic Studies Analyst can help solve traffic issues in
your neighborhood. They perform speed studies, traffic counts,
traffic signal and stop sign warrants, school zone safety, speed
hump program, traffic safety education, visibility restrictions
and special events coordination.
After collecting and analyzing data, when warranted, they
recommend the installation of passive and active traffic control
devices which include signs, pavement markings and traffic
signals.
