Recycling Programs

The City of Mesa Solid Waste Management Department offers a variety of recycling programs and services to our customers to help them live an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

In-home recycling containers are available to Mesa residential solid waste customers at no additional charge. This 28-qt. container conveniently fits under the kitchen sink. Residents may stop by the Solid Waste Management Department, 730 N. Mesa Dr., to pick one up. Limit one container per household.

Only 1 in 10 plastic grocery bags are currently recycled!

Please recycle them at your local retailer. Watch video>>>

Better yet, skip the bag or use reusable ones instead.

* Due to sorting limitations, plastic bags are NOT ACCEPTED in Mesa’s blue recycle barrel.
