Arizona State Tax Credit
With the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, you can donate up to $800 to Arizona Disabled Sports (AzDS) and get all of it back in your Arizona state tax refund. AzDS is a Qualifying Charitable Organization under the legal name of Mesa Association of Sports for the Disabled. It's easy and makes a huge impact! If you are a resident of Arizona, you may be eligible to direct your tax dollars to benefit AzDS. You can receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit for your donation to Arizona Disabled Sports, up to $400 individually or $800 if you file jointly. If you already receive a tax credit for your donation to the schools, no problem - you can receive both.
All donations will directly benefit the weekly and monthly adaptive programs for individuals with all types of disability. You will receive a donation letter and receipt from the organization with a tax ID number to indicate your donation to the Qualifying Charitable Organization for 2017. Visit the Donation Page to donate online. If you prefer to send a check, please mail it to PO Box 4727, Mesa, AZ 85211 and address it to Mesa Association of Sports for the Disabled.
*Please consult a qualified tax advisor for personal tax advice. You can get more information by visiting the Arizona Department of Revenue at https://www.azdor.gov/TaxCredits.aspx.
Birdies for Charity
Birdies mean bucks for Arizona Disabled Sports! AzDS is proud to be a part of the Birdies for Charity again this year in partnership with the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open. By participating you can make a pledge per birdie that will be hit at the Phoenix Open or you can make a one-time donation. AzDS will get every penny of pledges made! Visit Birdies for Charity AZ and click the Donate Now button. From there you will search for "Mesa Association of Sports for the Disabled" which is the legal name for AzDS and make your pledge. Pledge deadline is by 5pm on Sunday, February 4th, 2018. If you wish to mail in a pledge, please download this form and submit. Keep in mind that it is estimated that between 1,300 and 1,800 birdies will be made during the event.
