The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development has launched a new program designed to help Mesa’s small businesses navigate through the current economic challenges. The Mesa CARES Business Assistance Center will act as Mesa’s key source of information and assistance for businesses needing access to financial support programs and resources during the COVID-19 crisis.

“We are committed to doing all we can to help our citizens and businesses weather this storm,” City of Mesa Mayor John Giles said. “That’s why we have put in place the Mesa CARES Business Assistance Center where companies can reach out for much needed help.”

The Mesa CARES Business Assistance Center will assist Mesa businesses with questions regarding Federal, State, and City of Mesa programs and will provide guidance through the application processes for the various CARES Act financial programs such as the Paycheck Protection Program, Economic Injury Disaster Loan and Loan Advance, SBA Debt Relief Program and the SBA Express Bridge Loan, among others.

“We are here to help our businesses,” Mesa Economic Development Director Bill Jabjiniak said. “We will do all we can to provide the information and guidance to help our businesses get through these tough times.”

The new Mesa CARES Business Assistance Center can be reached by calling 480-644-6958 or 480-644-3964, emailing EconomicDevelopmentInfo@mesaaz.gov, or by visiting www.SelectMesa.com/MesaCARESbusiness.
