City of Mesa customers can call and report problems such as water leaks, water taste, and odor concerns 24 hours a day. Emergency issues, such as pipeline breaks or leaks, are investigated immediately, and repairs are prioritized based on the severity of the leak.
The Water Resources Department will repair leaks to its water meters and water mains. Leaks on the customer's side of the meter, including the pipe between the meter and the building, the irrigation system or indoor plumbing, are the responsibility of the customer.
Reporting Sewer Problems
Sewer line clogs or backups at your residence or business are experiences no one wants to deal with, particularly if you are not sure where to call.
Sewer line mains located in the street or alley are the responsibility of the City to clean and repair. The connection to the sewer main and all service lines from the main to the home are the responsibility of the property owner. For additional information, please read more about sewer blockages.
