Neighborhood Registration

Mesa maintains a listing of neighborhoods that have registered with us to help residents get more involved in decisions affecting their neighborhood. Registered neighborhoods are formed by residents and property owners within a defined set of boundaries. Registered neighborhoods range in size from several blocks to several square miles. A registered neighborhood can consist of individual and combined block watches, neighborhood organizations, and formal homeowners associations.

Benefits

Newly registered neighborhoods will receive information on community programs/services, resources and helpful hints on organizing effectively, a monthly e-newsletter and a detailed map of the neighborhood. Other benefits to registered neighborhoods include: notification from developers interested in obtaining input on projects planned for the area, collaboration and enhanced communication with staff, and assistance with facilitating your first neighborhood meeting.
