Updates to the playground will include:

  • Play equipment replacement
  • Surfacing upgrades to improve accessibility
  • Fall impact attenuation
  • Shade structures with lighting to extend hours of use
  • ADA accessibility improvements to the parking area and concrete

 

A Public Meeting will be held onsite at Whitman Park, under one of the large ramadas, Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 6pm-7pm.
