Mesa Fire and Medical Department is an all-hazards department, responding to calls ranging from medical issues to fire suppression, to complex hazardous emergencies or rescues.

We operate 21 fire stations, divided into four battalions, across 138 square miles of service area. Battalion Chiefs supervise all four battalions. Battalion 201 also serves as the East Deputy Chief for valley wide response. Our fleet includes twenty frontline engines and six ladders. All engines and ladders are Constant Staffed with a Captain, Engineer and two Firefighters; of which two are Paramedics (ALS) and two are EMTs (BLS).
