Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities Internship Program

Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Internships are available within three areas: Recreation, Marketing, and GIS.

  • Recreation interns should be enrolled in a high school or community college-level program.

  • Marketing interns must have at least one year of college and must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university. Some coursework in communications, marketing, journalism, volunteer management, or public administration is preferred.

  • GIS interns must be in their junior or senior year or have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Planning, Remote Sensing or a directly related field.
