Options for Addressing an Outstanding Warrant

Option 1: Pay the Bond Amount

Pay the bond amount set by the judge. Once bond is posted, the warrant will be quashed (cancelled). If the warrant was issued for failure to appear, you will be provided a new court date.

Bonds may be posted in person at the Court's front counter or by phone (480) 644-2255 during the following hours: 

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm (excluding holidays). 

Option 2: File a Motion to Quash the Warrant

You may request that the judge quash (cancel) your warrant by filing a motion with the Court. Motions may be submitted:

• In person at the Court
• Through the drop box located outside the Court
• By mail
• By email to courtservices@mesaaz.gov

Option 3: Appear Before a Judge During Walk-In Hours

You may appear in person before a judge during the Court's designated walk-in hours to address your warrant. 

Monday - Thursday: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (excluding holidays)

Important Information:

• Appearing during walk-in hours does not guarantee that the judge will quash your warrant. Depending on the circumstances of your case, the judge may order that you are taken into custody, quash your warrant, or require you to post bond. 
• Walk-in hours do not replace a previously scheduled court appearance.
• Virtual appearances are not available during walk-in hours.
