Environmental and Sustainablity Division Internship Program

Through a partnership between the Mesa Public Schools Career Technical Education (CTE) Program and Mesa's Environmental and Sustainability Department, this paid internship provides high school seniors with valuable hands-on workplace experience. Interns support environmental and conservation staff with administrative, inventory, and public outreach activities while assisting with educational materials, records management, literature requests, public events, and inventory coordination.

Applicants must be senior high school students enrolled in both Mesa Public Schools and the Career Technical Education (CTE) Program. The internship begins in August, continues through the summer, and requires a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week. To apply, students must contact their career coach, submit a resume, and successfully complete a background check.
