In May, 2025, Mesa’s City Council voted to approve the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, and Mayor Freeman signed the adoption of the plan.

What is the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan?

The CSAP used public input and data-driven analysis to evaluate the most important contributing factors in fatal and serious crashes. The Action Plan serves as a framework for enhancing safety in Mesa by identifying strategies and projects and building a safety-culture community.
