The Industrial Pretreatment Program (IPP) is a federally mandated pollution control program under the Clean Water Act which regulates the discharges of industrial and commercial facilities to the sanitary sewer system. The Industrial Pretreatment Section (IPS) oversees the Mesa Pretreatment Program.
IPS Goals:
We have numerous resources available to any business seeking to prevent the discharge of pollutants to the environment. In some instances, the implementation of pollution prevention strategies can keep a business from receiving a permit.
Let us know if you would like a representative of IPS to speak with your school or group about the pretreatment program.
