The mission of Helping Hands for Freedom is to provide military children and families the financial assistance necessary when dealing with a family member lost, wounded, or currently deployed.

Home Modification Assistance
Maricopa County Human Services Department (MCHSD) is please to offer Veterans assistance with modifying their home to provide greater accessibility. Funding for the Housing Opportunity for Service Disabled Veterans Program (HOSDV) is made available through the Arizona Attorney General's Office. Program approval is dependent on availability of funds.

Service Animals - What you need to know
Service dogs can reduce stress and anxiety levels and help veterans mitigate the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) that all-too-often arise when they return home from the battlefield. Unfortunately, there is a great deal of confusion around service dogs that can lead to discrimination against our nation’s veterans.
