Home Safety Education (HSE)
The Home Safety Education (HSE) Program is available and free to all City of Mesa residents. The program aims to reduce the risks of falls and fires within the home and to link citizens to outside resources as needed.
Schedule HSE
In-Home Appointments - The HSE Program will send a trained MFMD volunteer to your home to help you identify possible hazards within the home. The volunteer will make suggestions and immediate changes wherever possible, including fall prevention measures, home escape planning, smoke alarm checks/installation (including alarms for the deaf and hard of hearing), grab bar installation, etc.
Group Classes - We provide Home Safety Education Presentations to groups and communities. Please contact us for more information or to schedule a presentation.
